The new quarter turn locking system assures the best performance in terms of safety and closing speed. The new SmartyCam3 SPORT camera has been designed for motorsports with a single purpose, Providing great videos including all the information you need. The SmartyCam3 SPORT camera overlays all the data from both GPS and AiM data loggers connected to your ECU. The perfect camera designed for club racing or karting.
Note: Must be connected to a data logger with 12v power or 2 port data hub with external 12v power supply. To use as a stand alone camera you will need the 12v powered data hub and optional GPS09 module.

High quality with small size video files
High quality with small size video files Generic HD cameras are focused on the highest pixel number. The result is that their video files are far too large, taking too much memory. SmartyCam3 SPORT videos have the same quality as other FHD cameras but their files are smaller because the H.264 compression system parameters have been optimized to a perfect balance between video quality and file size.

No “Wave Effect“ with Global Shutter CMOS
Engine rumble causes vibrations, which are a big problem for video recording. You will never experience again that seasick “wave effect” you get watching videos recorded by a generic camera when the car rolls at 7,000 RPM. SmartyCam3 SPORT cameras have been designed for that environment and for those vibrations. “Wave effect” is just a distant memory

Designed for the extreme
An on-board camera designed for motorsport must guarantee great resistance against the extreme working conditions typical of racing and against the most adverse weather, such as: strong and prolonged vibrations, continuous rain and extremely high and low temperatures. IP65 waterproof and made in machinery molded aluminum, just like many competition car parts.

Automatic Start & Stop
You are on the starting grid, ready to sprint, your adrenaline reaching the climax: the last thing you can worry about is... switching on the camera. You have other things to worry about. SmartyCam3 is aware of that. That is why it switches on/off automatically and starts/stops recording the same way.

Full internal datalogger
All the data received from CAN and internal sensors are recorded in .mov files produced at the end of your test, your SD (or MSD) Card contains all the information you need for a deep data analysis. SD card sold separately.

With RaceStudio3 software you can configure your overlays in a virtually infinite variety of ways: add your logo and the track map and choose your graphic objects from a list of pre-determined sets with same layout or even single objects from different sets. Your videos will be truly "yours" in all details, from the data to their graphic layout.
